Armstrong is a singer/songwriter born and raised in West London, The United Kingdom. Ever since he was a child and before he could even speak, he had always shown an interest in music. He would dance for anyone and as soon as he knew how to sing, he would entertain any audience no matter how big or small. So it was no surprise as he became older that his interests in music and the arts grew stronger.
Armstrong comes from a musical family, his paternal Grandfather was an opera singer and his father was also a musician in his youth and played with various bands. This musical tradition has continued not only through Armstrong but also from within the younger ranks of the family. With Armstrong's cousin JB being one fourth of the hottest new male group around JLS.
