Whoever said 'life begins at 40' wasn't all wrong. I was too busy between 20 and 40 to have much fun...or time to myself! Becoming a gramma at 43 was a terrific new chapter! Depending on how the counting is done, I have either 3, 5, or 6 grandkids now! (3 by blood, 2 are step-grandkids, and 1 is actually my sons brother-in-law, but he's 10 and calls me Gramma anyway.) I like the number 6. They're 10, 5, 3, 2, 5mo and 5 weeks, at this writing.I grew up on a farm with two older brothers, and had two sons...so I've lived with guys my whole life. For most of my 46 years, I've been a Minnesotan, temporarily transplanted to Portland Oregon 98-05. My sons are now married dads, and doing pretty well in those roles, so I did something right!?!!Now. If I only knew what I wanted to do when I grew up! lol!
