Le Bilance

Once upon a time in Florence, Italy, almost-strangers Erin Cantrell and Lindsay Sanwald decided they were music hungry. Erin, the southern soul singer, and Lindsay, the Jersey girl indie-rocker, started writing songs and performing in the fall of 2005 while living abroad in Tuscany. With just a voice and a forty-euro toy guitar, a charmed collaboration was born. The girls agreed on the name Le Bilance (lay-bee-lon-chay)—Italian for “the scales” or “the Libras”—for it embodied not only their astrological identities with an Italian twist, but also the beautiful balance of their opposite musical tastes and personal histories.

Playing a sultry indie-rock-jazz of sorts, Erin and Lindsay want to sing you songs, con un bacio grande.
