The Shadow Puppets(No longer a band)

About Me

The Shadow Puppets were a pop-rock band from Shepparton, Victoria. The band consisted of Bowie Liew(vocals), Vito Lucarelli(guitar), Matt "Darvo" Darveniza(bass) and Simon Findlay(drums), who all met while attending high school.

They achieved relative success within the Shepparton underage music scene, with their fast paced "enthusiastic rock" style and performance.
Towards the end of 2008 the band grew bored with their style and felt their music was becoming stale, and consequently disbanded.
However not long after this, Vito, Darvo and Simon decided to reform the band without vocalist Bowie, under the name 8-bit Love.
8-bit Love moves away from the style of The Shadow Puppets, exploring a new range of styles and influences, from mainstream dance and electro to shoegaze and indie-rock.
