Latrelle aka Munchie Lets Talk!!!!! Talk about real singing, real talent, real beauty, and just the over all real deal. Who are we talking about? Ms. Latrelle aka Munchie. Latrelle got her start quite early, writing songs in her teen years for artists like Destiny's Child, Next, and Monica. She started out at the tender age of 16 with Her momager (mom/manager) at her side. Determined to pursue a career in music she began recording her own music. Long nights in the studio are second nature to this girl now. She showcased at Montana studios in New York, which lead to several labels ( Sony Columbia, Motown, Def Jam, Warner Bros, La Face, Island and Yab Yum) courting the young star. Then she met Kenny Babyface Edmonds who signed her and her mom to a publishing deal at Edmonds Music Publishing, and was impressed enough to introduced her to L.A. Reid, and push for Arista to sign the young talent."I'm always excited when a new artist comes along that has the potential to make an impact on our business and Latrelle is no exception," says Babyface. Latrelle has been blessed with the ability to communicate with her audience the through her voice and songwriting skills. The amazing thing for me is that as talented as she is now shes still in the process of discovering the breadth of her gifts. Its a joy to watch. L.A. Reid met Latrelle and was so impressed he offered her a contract on the same day. And thus the relationship began. By the age of 19, she had recorded Dirty Girl, Wrong Girl, Bad Girl, her first album. Latrelles fist singleHouse Party was produced by the Neptunes (who produced 6 songs on her Arista album Including Dirty Girl). Latrelle has had an ongoing relationship with them every since. Pharelle calls her his little sister. With the bulk of the album produced by, the Neptunes, along with Babyface, Allstar, Mike City, David Anthony, J.R.Swinger, and Riff Raf and most songs written or co-written by Latrelle and Aleese Simmons) she was destined for greatness. Latrelle has since then been on Tour with Lauren Hill, The Fugees, Blue Cantrell, Alicia keys ,P Diddy, Rihanna and George Benson to name a few. She has also performed, recorded and /or written with an A-List of Producers and Artist such as The Neptunes, Babyface, Rodney Jerkins, Soul Shock and Karlin, Tone and Poke, Allstar, Amadeus, Dutch, Destinys Child,Whitney Houston (Just Whitney), Mary Mary, Pharelle, Ludacris, Trina, Monica, R. Kelly, Mya, Debra Cox, Mystikals (Family) , Next, Natalie Wilson, FredroStarr(Light it up soundtrk) Phillys most wanted, Shaggy, and Tamia. And thats just the A-list. She has also appeared and recorded on several independent projects as well.LAST BUT NOT LEAST SHE ALSÖ SANG LEAD ON THE PDIDDY SONG "LAST NIGHT" WITH DIDDY AND SNOOP ON THE PUFF PUFF PASS IS TO SNOOP 2007 TOUR!! So many beautiful things to say about this beautiful flower ready to blossom. Since leaving Arista she has developed even further and recorded a new album under Andresia Music Group where she is part owner. So not only is she beautiful and talented, shes also smart and ready to share her gift with the world. And a beautiful gift it is!!!
