Estevan BiographyEstevan was born August 8, 1988 (8-8-88) at the Fort Campbell, KY hospital in Montgomery County, TN to parents serving in the U.S. Army. Three months later he was on an airplane enroute to Germany when the family was transferred. After three years in Germany the family was again transferred to Japan. Estevan began to show a great facility for words and amazingly learned to read at the age of three years old.The family later moved to Colorado and eventually to the Atlanta area. They settled in a town south of Atlanta named Ellenwood. Times were tough on a military salary and Estevan began to adapt to the struggles of day to day life in the South Metro. He learned to never take anything for granted and that nothing is certain in life.Estevan began to listen more and more to the music of the time which included Outkast, Goodie Mob, Ludacris, TI, Lil’ Jon and Jermaine Dupree among others and began to draw from their examples to become a lyricist. He teamed up with other kids in the neighborhood and they began to make songs for their own entertainment.Estevan became obsessed with the different styles of true lyricists and began to study the different tempos they used to make their songs flow so effortlessly. He began to practice and adjust his delivery to fit what he believed to be the proper method to excite the crowd. In Middle school it became vogue for young aspiring rappers to meet before and after school and during lunch breaks and battle for lyrical supremacy. Estevan developed his abilities in the constant back and forth Jonesfests and became known for his ability to discourage adversaries from challenging his art.In High School he became interested in creating different beats to challenge his lyrical range. He acquired Fruity Loops and began to craft primitive beats that gave him different ideas and gave him a great appreciation for modern music. He used it to create a song called “Never Be†that he placed on the “Rate My Rap†website. Surprisingly he attained No. 1 status and that encouraged him work tirelessly to improve his craft. He continued to battle during school breaks and to participate in school talent shows. His art caused him to neglect school and later caused him to graduate from High School with the minimum qualifications needed to graduate. He was encouraged by a guidance counselor to go to “Full Sailâ€, a recording arts school in Florida as he had no other marketable interests other than music. While at Full Sail he began to learn all facets of the recording industry from the ground up. He continued to create music and lyrics in his spare time and networked with other aspiring artists to exchange ideas to improve his abilities. These sessions heightened his skill to a point where others began to recognize his potential. After leaving Full Sail, he returned to Georgia and was introduced to Tony Frazier who listened to Estevan’s demo and referred him to Torrance (T-Riffic) Burnett, a producer and owner of the Up Front Music label, headquartered in the Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area.Estevan traveled to Dallas and worked with T-Riffic to create the Album “So Freshâ€. T-Riffic added his distinct Dirty South/Krunk blend. He also recruited artists Bossaliny, a Texas area cutting edge rap phenomenon due to release his latest album on the title song “So Fresh and The Georgia Peach “Rasheedaâ€, of D-LO Entertainment, for the song “Fast Girlsâ€.
