Lately--frequenting the New York City Ballet and classical music concerts at Carnegie Hall w/ my lovely boyfriend, spending WAY too much time on the A train, reading (novels, the Economist), sitting on my patio, art museums, walking the streets of NYC aimlessly, all things 90s (the decade), New York City, Boston, Union Square Farmer's Market, Emily Post's "Etiquette", Oklahoma BBQ, All things girly and rose scented.
I'd love to get in touch with old friends and make some new ones along the way. :-)
I've been to more classical music concerts than rock shows these days--but still listen to the following: Imogen Heap, Snow Patrol, Maia Sharp, Jeff Buckley, Flaming Lips,Pete Yorn, Grandaddy,Interpol, the Doves, Keane, Zero 7, Muse, Ryan Adams, Better Than Ezra, Toad the Wet Sprocket/Glen Phillips,Coldplay, Elbow, Damian Rice,Chemistry Set,Calhoun,Rufus Wainright,Edith Piaf, Ella Fitzgerald; pretty much anything depressing, singer-songwriterish and or British.
The Groomsmen (all Edward Burns movies), Pride & Prejudice, Shop Girl, Amelie (any Audrey Tautou movie except Da Vinci Code), Brothers McMullen, Wuthering Heights (the old one),Chocolat, both Bridget Jones movies, High Fidelity, Sidewalks of New York, Notting Hill, Reality Bites, Singles,Before Sunrise, Sideways, Brokeback Mountain (most romantic comedies..especially from the 90s, French films) and most recently AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH
