Hiding from the police. Changing flat tires on my car. Throwing up gang signs. Dancing to N'Sync in my house. Tripping up the steps. Races (like the Shamrock Shuffle, Muddy Buddy, random 8k's, etc. But not that damn marathon -- I did that back in 2002 and NEVER AGAIN. My knees are still angry with me for that one).
People that: (1) Make me laugh (2) Can roll in non-trendy establishments -- and truly enjoy it (so if you're questioning if I will go to Japonais, you know your answer) (3) Understand that our day jobs are there for a purpose -- to allow us to buy food and TP -- and do NOT define us (4) Enjoy tomfoolery and sarcasm (5) Like to people watch (6) Can challenge me mentally (7) Would be willing to have a running race with me
I enjoy music that gets me going for a work-out (GANGSTA RAP). But as stated above, I'm expanding my horizons and trying to get a bit out of all genres.
I enjoy all types of movies -- but I am not a big fan of the massive gore (Saw, anyone?). I probably will vomit on you during a movie like that.
I really really really try not to watch TV. I watch WGN Channel 9 news in the morning -- the tomfoolery is the best around.
Lately -- school books. But other items include: Prescription for Nutritional Healing -- I like to diagnosis myself with various diseases and then take supplements to try to cure them (I'm kidding....kind of). Non-fiction..The World is Flat is good. And the Band Played On makes me sad, but it is a reality. Working with Emotional Intelligence is interesting. Losing the Race is thought-provoking. Just a few off the top of my head....
My cat, Duke. He fell off a 4 story balcony and survived. I hope that if I ever fall off a balcony I will survive as well.
