MySpace Layouts - Get This Layout<There's been some big changes, so I figured it was about time to change this thing, so here goes......I'm a 28 year old small town kid from southeast Kansas who just graduated from medical school at KU Med. It was tough, but also some of the best times of my life. Most importantly, I was able to meet my best friends in the world while there, and that made it much easier.What brought me to this point is the interesting thing, and something that I will not ever forget. On June 14, 1999 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. I spent the next two years+ doing chemo and radiation. I had a lot of hard times....was hospitalized a lot...lost my hair more than once...but in the end, I wouldn't trade it for anything. There was a time that I wasn't sure what the future held...and this gave me an outlook that every story, every laugh, every memory is what it's all about. A little cheesy, I know....but that's just who I am.So there you go, I'm a 28yr old brand new physician, who's excited and scared to death at the same time. Overall, I'm just loving life...in no particular hurry to grow up, and just figure that when the right girl comes along, something will click and I'll slow down a little....who knows.
