[dyschromatopsy] - BAND MEMBERS WANTED!

Summer 2003 - Revúca - Slovakia - Tomás Svonavec (guitar, vocals, drums)and Ivan Labaj (drums, vocals, guitar) grounded grind core bandCATASTROPH. They togheter recorded one demo tape of rather primitive grindcore. In fall of the same year Kamil Adamík, who had previously played with them inmetal band ABSOLUTELY HATE, joined the band as a guitarist. The bandsstyle started to change into more thrash/death metal under the influencesof bands like Death, In Flames. For a short time a bass player Roland"Dexter" Janúch joined the band, but after two rehearsal left the band. Insummer 2004 the band choose death metal as its definitive path. Theystarted to rehearse and create new songs. Permanent problems withrehearsal room and other complications caused that the tempo of the bandwas slowed down. Finally in spring 2005 things started to go better way. The band createdmany new songs and under new influences like Behemoth, Dementor, VitalRemains and later Necrophagist, Cryptopsy etc. began to be more and moretechnical, but without forgetting the melodic site of the extreme music. The main composer Kamil Adamík took also the vocal duties. Inoctober of 2005 CATASTROPH together with the friend of band Martin Bunda as a bass player, played their first concert with band Virtual Voyage in their hometownRevúca. Shortly after the band changed its name into more complicatedDYSCHROMATOPSY. With newer songs band created its own style and way ofcomposing. Under new name band only played one show in may 2006 with Vighun, Virtual Voyage, Na Smiech, Mnv. Afterthat, due to personal reasons, the activity of the band was stopped butthe members continued to compose new, even more technical, complicated,original and progressive material. But in the summer of 2007, beacause of various reasons, the band became only a one-piece - Tom and Ivan are no longer the band members. At the end of the same year new, very talented drummer Nortis joined the band and its activity was reanimated. Unfortunately his talent was way bigger than his responsibility and commitment and he was fired in the summer of 2008. Curently the band is seeking new drummer and vocalist.
