About Me


Ed is a professional drummer residing in the city of Chicago. Ed recently finished his BA in Jazz Studies from Columbia College Chicago.
Ed most of his time as an active member of an original rock/pop group called "The Hudson Landing". Ed is also currently playing with a power rock trio called"Jebs Clampett". Another fantastic up and coming group Ed plays in is"The Chris Beckstrom Band". This ensemble plays all original music from funk/hip-hop to Jazz and R&B. Ed shares some playing time in the "Martez Rucker Trio". Ed's other side projects include "Amy Yassinger & Friends".
Ed also freelances around the city and its surrounding suburbs in almost every style from world music to jazz and pop/rock with many diverse musicians and performers.
In addition to performing, Ed teachs at a music store called Music & Arts Center in Naperville, IL and Ellman's Music also in Naperville. He is also adjunct faculty at Hinsdale Central High School in Hinsdale, IL; where he teachs private lessons and rhythm section classes. Ed is available to travel to student's houses for private lessons as well.
