Most importantly, I'm a mother of Janiah Adrianna, who was born June 29, 2006. I love being a mommy and thank God for this special gift. She is truly our miracle and such a blessing! She's been saying "Daddy" since 7 months and saying Mommy since 21 months...lol. She skipped crawling and I remember when she finally took 10 steps at 13 months and been walking and running ever since lol. She's been singing her ABC's since 15 months. She counts up to 25, sometimes 30. She loves to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Old McDonald, London Bridges, Elmo theme song, Cookie theme song, songs from "Baby First TV" and many other songs as well as commercials on TV. She loves singing, dancing, playing her guitar and keyboard. She knows her first and last name. She can imitate the sound of almost any animal. She's in a private school and we love the enriching education she's getting. She knows Obama is President and has been saying his name since 15 months.

My personal message: Everyone doesn't get this chance in life...having kids that is. If you're waiting 10yrs (or damn near 20yrs for that matter) for that one man to "step up" or your timeclock is ticking or you're dealing with infertility issues....you will miss out on this blessing and you really don't wanna miss out on this because of the first example I just gave cause it's just not worth it girls....so get smart and live your life.
My personal testimony: Afer a long term interracial relationship, right when I had just about given up on finding a good man or the right man or the thought of EVER getting married, God brought my husband to me out of nowhere.
God introduced us at Navy Pier at a midnight singles cruise on the Spirit of Chicago that our church had given on 9/24/99. He proposed to me just 8 months later on 5/18/00 at Navy Pier on the Oddessy Cruise during a gala celebration my job at that time had given. We had a nice sized wedding/reception of about 215 people. We got married at our church Apostolic Church of God with our awesome Bishop, Dr. Arthur Brazier. Five years later, our true blessing of our union FINALLY arrived on 6/29/06 and she is TRULY our heart and love of our lives! We are totally in love with her.
Moral to my testimony: You gotta PUT GOD FIRST and everything else will fall into place! Remember that no matter how hard times get! Unfortunately, we all have to go through trials and tribulations to make us stronger. Ordeals in life are very trying at times but God doesn't give us nothing we can't handle folks.
Career: I'm the SexyAsNurse. I'm a RN,BSN. My anniversary for being a nurse is 9/5. It's been 13 years wooohooooo!
Saying: You will find me smiling or laughing to keep from crying. I got that phrase and attitude from my grandparents who are no longer here. R.I.P Grandpa 11/3/98 and R.I.P Grandma 12/18/00.

Pet Peeves: My NUMBER ONE PET PEEVE is the ever so typical, jealous, played-out haters out there in this terrible,cruel world. I cannot tolerate phony/mean people, racist people like Regan, Bush, McCain and their stupid redneck supporters, smokers, drug addicts, hip hop/crunk lifestyle, thugs and once again mostly George W.
