Daniel Dexters connection to the music can be pursued back into the 80's. After he became enthusiastic at first for Punk, he discovered gradually the fascination which radiated from the new electronic music. Particularly both the measure-compatible and radical Melange from Pop and machine-like sound of acts like Kraftwerk, New Order or Depeche mode shaped him strongly. This fascination found its continuation in the 90's with the new electronic Pop Acts such as Daft Punk or the Chemical Brothers. Both his own productions and DJ sets reflect all these influences again. A musical hell ride between pumpin Bastardpop, Punk, Rave and Techno, between Underground and Overground, between Rhythms and Broken Beats - so one could describe Daniel Dexters music style. He know his job well, and the performance are shaped blended by technical perfection, but he is also a absolutley partymachine. For such wild gigs and a lot of successful Records, 24 years old is quite a considerable age for a young artist.
Today he is living in Berlin, he has his own partyrow with the Acidkids in one of the most important clubs of bavaria, the Suxul club, where already people played such as DJ Hell, Princess Superstar or Trentemoeller. He has Records on Craft Music, Whirlpoolsex, Karate Musik and makes a lot of new stuff und Remixes with his partner and friend Markus Lange. KLAXONS, Laurent Garnier, Kevin Saunderson, John Aquaviva, Gus Gus, Gregor Tresher, Vitalic, Toni Rios, Play Paul, Sébastien Léger and Malente are supporters of his records.

"Daniel Dexter gefällt die Idee vom "DJ als Rockband", und im Grunde muss man dem nicht mehr viel hinzufügen, wenn es gilt, seinen Style zu beschreiben. Genau so hört sich das an. Was natürlich nicht heißt, dass er Rockmusik auflegt... Obwohl, auch das kommt vor. Der Mann hat den New Wave der 80er intus, ganz klar, genau so wie das was man heute wieder "Rave" nennt. Plus Techno, Electro, Broken Beats...alles auf dem Rasen, wenn Daniel Dexter im Spiel ist. Seine myspace Seite beeindruckt mit „Freunden“ wie 2ManyDJs, Mr. Oizo und -- alter Schwede --Joy Division! Zudem hat Daniel Dexter mit seinem Buddy Markus Lange bereits zwei Tonträger veröffentlicht, die unter anderem schon von Laurent Garnier, Kevin Saunderson, Moonbootica und Vitalic gespielt worden sein sollen. Holla, da scheinen Die "Rookie" Tage ja gezählt...!"
