s. m., nome abreviado da máquina dínamo-elétrica que transforma a energia mecânica em energia elétrica. do grego dynamis, força...e é isso que glaucio valle [voz e guitarra], marcelo parede [guitarra e backing] e d'alessandro mangueira [baixo e backing] querem passar nas suas canções: força, movimento, eletricidade.a banda dínamo surgiu da vontade de dar continuidade a um outro projeto vencedor - a banda susquatro - que teve vida breve, de 1998 a 2001, porém produtiva (2.500 cds vendidos no mercado independente em três anos de existência). remanescentes desse trabalho, glaucio valle e d’alessandro mangueira resolveram seguir em frente e continuar lutando por um lugar ao sol. força e energia fizeram o sonho não acabar ali. então a palavra “dínamo” se encaixou perfeitamente com o momento. em 2003, junto com caio barreto e vitório cavalcante, a banda consolida a forma do som. depois de um ano cada um teve que seguir suas carreiras e novamente glaucio e d’alessandro se viram na mesma situação: começar de novo. como o conceito já estava formado foi só juntar mais um: marcelo parede. ainda assim faltava o batera. sorte ou seja lá o que for, chega de brasília o músico kelder paiva que se agrega ao grupo fazendo uma participação especial. com os arranjos prontos, a banda entra em estúdio e, depois de um ano inteiro produzindo, gravando e pós-produzindo lança em setembro de 2006 o cd homônimo ‘dínamo’. depois de dois mil cds vendidos – e aumentando! – e com a entrada, como membro oficial, do baterista marcelo farias, o grupo segue seu caminho em 2007 fazendo shows e divulgando o quanto podem esse trabalho. verdades, experiências e histórias de vida traduzidas em canções. força, movimento e energia. isso é dínamo. acertar o alvo pode não ser na centésima tentativa. pode ser na centésima primeira. para o alto e avante!_____________________________________________________ _________english version_____________________________________________________ ___n., a machine which turns some other kind of power into electricity. from the greek dynamis, strength... that’s what glaucio valle [vocals and electric guitar], marcelo parede [electric guitar and backing vocals] and d'alessandro mangueira [bass guitar and backing vocals] want to transmit in their songs: strength, movement, electricity. the band dínamo was born from the will of continuing another winning project – the band susquatro – which had a brief but productive lifetime (from 1998 to 2001, and 2.500 cds sold in the alternative market). remaining from this work, glaucio valle and d’alessandro mangueira decided to go on and keep fighting for their own place. Strength and energy avoided the dream to die then. so the word “dínamo” perfectly fit the moment in 2003. with caio barreto and vitório cavalcante, the band consolidates its music shape. after a year, each one had to go on his own careers. glaucio and d’alessandro were again in the same situation: starting again. as the concept was already shaped, they just had to add someone else: marcelo parede. but a drummer was still missing. good luck or whatever it is, kelder paiva, a musician from brasília, arrives and aggregates to the band, performing a special part. with finished arrangements, the band starts recording and, after a whole year of production, recording and post-production, the homonym cd ‘dínamo’ is launched in september 2006. after the joining, as an official member, of the drums player marcelo farias and after 2,000 cds sold – and raising! – the group continues his way in 2007 making shows and spreading as hard as they can this work. truths, experiences and life stories translated into songs. strength, movement, energy. that's dínamo. hitting the target may not happen in the one hundredth try. it may in the one hundred first.
