Influences: You'll find PEOPLE on my FRIENDS list who are obviously dead, but have some seriously dedicated fans who carry their work on through the wonder of recordings...people like Memphis Minnie and Blind Willie McTell - although never experiencing the widespread awareness of them that exists now when they were alive, nevertheless made recordings whose soul and sound seeded the imagination of many people of my generation, those people who reached their teens and twenties in the late nineteen fifties...
