friends here on myspace.I'm not looking for just "hook ups" or "quickies". Friends come into our lives many different ways, and it is the variety of each that makes them all special. Get to know me and we will see where it leads.Take a chance and lets have an intelligent conversation. A few of my favorite thoughts.... Why can't we all stop saying we are so openminded and just BE that way? When you were born you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die you are smiling and everyone else is crying.

I tend to like SOMETHING from every sort of music. Country is what I am partial to now, Alabama and Lonestar amongst my favorites... but I am also a long time fan of Bon Jovi...esp. the older stuff.I still enjoy a good evening with 80's rock on ocassion...Bon Jovi, Poison, Whitesnake, Def Leppard. Nothing quite like songs like "Pour Some Sugar on Me" or "Talk Dirty to me". You know how people leave the tv on for noise? I prefer the radio.....
My all time favorites are Dirty Dancing (although he really needed to pull those pants down lower most of the time), An Officer and a Gentleman (talk about a man who sweeps a woman off her feet) and The Abyss (because I am afraid of deep water and that movie scares the crap out of me). And most of Stephen King's books turned movies are stupid...except for maybe Cujo (makes me look at my dog funny after!)
I'm not a big tv watcher...would rather be DOING something. But if I'm in the mood I like all the CSI shows, Crossing Jordan, Law and Order shows.I also like anything weird and gruesome on scifi.LOL. My kids think the tv in the family room doesnt GET any kid shows, and I aim to keep it that way so shhhhhhhhhhhhh....
All of Stephen King's books, who recommended Dean Koontz who recommended John Saul. I also like Danielle Steel novels but only when I'm not in the mood for gruesome and scary which is rare.
My heroes are those who live their lives enriching the lives of others, giving of themselves, and being able to be content with the intrinsic rewards that provides.
