I know I probably have one of the most obscure headlines ever. My co-workers decided one day to make it a "talk about my love life" day and one of them asked, "Why is it you don't date?" Before I could answer, the other one goes, "Because she's afraid of getting hurt! JEEZ." So, my other co-worker said, "dating is like soccer. You have to put on your shin guards to prevent from getting hurt and get back into the game." Quite possibly one of the weirdest analogies ever, but it made sense. :-)
So, here I am. I'm lookin in New York, because I will be moving there in April of 2007. Between now and then, though, I will be visiting frequently while I look for jobs and a place to live. So, if you're ok with talking for a while and maybe hanging out every once in a while when I go up, that's cool. If not, I apologize I'm not there yet :-p
My friends would call me a work-a-holic. Not because all I do is work, but because I have three jobs and I go to school full time. I just want to ensure I receive the best education possible while ensuring my future after college. My three jobs consist of the following: nurse at a veterinary clinic, assistant editor for a publishing firm, and an English tutor. I am a senior at a college in Florida, and I am studying journalism.
I love to go out and just have a good time. I love movies, theater, parks, playing pool, or almost anything else. If I haven't done something before, I'm most likely up for trying it once depending on the situation and the legality of the situation. :-p
As often as most people put this, I'm looking for someone who can be not only a boyfriend, but also a best friend as well. In my dating experience, my better friends and relationships were the result of being friends first, then dating. I like to get a great feel for people before I commit myself to them. I'm just looking for someone with similar interests and who has goals in life. I have my goals, and I think it's very important for my partner to have his own goals that are either at the same level as mine or higher.
