About Me

Guess I'll start with what's most important... I am a child of God, trying to find my way in this world. I know that He has a perfect plan for my life and that is what keeps me going. I serve a God of Grace and Mercy who for some reason chose me to be one of His children. I have an amazing group of friends that have stuck by my side through some pretty rough times. I haven't been half the friend to them, that they have been to me. Thank you guys. My family is unbelievable. I couldn't have asked for more amazing, God-fearing parents, and my sister is the coolest girl I know. She is married to a great guy and has three kick A kids. I love to write. It's one of the few things in this life that makes me feel part of something bigger. I have a handful of things posted, you may like them, you may not, but they are honest and from the heart. I can definitely come across rude and inconsiderate, but deep down, Im really not that way at all, its just a front that for some reason I maintain. I am afraid to fail, so most of the time I won't even try. The reoccurring phrase in my life is unused potential. I'm hoping I can change that here soon. Jesus Christ saved my life...

My Interests

I love to play golf! I love to write. Poetry mostly. I would love to be a song writer some day. I know I know, guys are never supposed to admit to stuff like that. I love going to dinner with my parents. (ya know, that whole free thing) I also love to go out with the guys. Nothing better than making a scene everytime you eat out. Tossing leather goods into distant garbage cans full of nacho cheese. Talking excrutiatingly loud for no apparent reason. Watching my friends flirt with a waitress that is so obviously not interested.

I'd like to meet:

Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, The Apostle Paul, King David. And guess what...someday I will. I'd also like to meet Tiger Woods because he is the freakin man. I can't wait to meet the girl that God has planned for me. She is going to be so amazing, I just hope that I am the man she needs me to be.

Music:

I love music. Pretty much all kinds. I know everybody says that. Ok so I really dont enjoy rap all that much. But pretty much everything else, I enjoy. Contemporary Christian is what I listen to the most. Followed by country. Favorites right now: Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Shawn MacDonald, Red, MercyMe, Josh Gracin, Rascal Flatts and ya, thats all I can think of right now.

Movies:

Anything that has Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, or either of the Wilson brothers in it. I also tend to like romantic comedies. They're just so darn cute. I also like dramas, horror movies, and action films, the occasional independent film, and also animated films here and there. Ok so I think i just about covered them all.

Television:

Prison Break!!! That show is freakin awesome. And yes, I have to admit, I love American Idol. ESPN is a staple. Whether it is the Scripps Spelling Bee or the WSOP. I also love the Discovery Channel. Shark Week Rocks! The History Channel is always good for a show here and there.

Books:

I love to read anything written by Christian authors. C.S. Lewis(A little off on some things, but an awesome writer and thinker), Philip Yancy, R.C. Sproul, John Piper, Jonathan Edwards. Anything that deals with theology and the Christian faith interests me. The last three books that I have read have all been by John Piper. Never knew who he was until like three years ago. From that list of authors I'm sure you can take a wild guess on where I stand on Divine Election:)

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, my dad and my mom(although I dont tell them nearly enough), and anybody who lives their life for the purpose of glorifying our Lord and Savior.
