About Me

I'm was teacher, I am a nurturer, and I'm way too nice sometimes. Anyway, on to my profession. I taught Social Studies at a high school in Baltimore City in '06-'07. Shooting at the football game, fires every other week...Yep, I experienced the 'hood. Cool, huh? I certainly don't miss the commute. I'm passionate about education, but not sure it's the thing for me. So, I am in deep contemplating. I like fun, I'm funny, I like movies and books, and I'm intelligent. I seem to know a little about a lot of things. So I guess I'm good to have as a Trivial Pursuit partner. I play a mean game of Jenga. I love my cat Smidge, and I miss my beloved Baby (my first cat) who died a few years ago. I've been thru a lot in my life and I'm a pretty damned good person in spite of it. I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like me. (please know where that is from!!)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet truly nice people. As far as men, ones who say (or write) what they mean and actually mean it. I want to meet people who want to have some fun. Possibly a special someone willing to go to carnivals and play those stupid games and win a goldfish that will surely die before you get it home (as mine did when I was little). Someone to go to movies with, or dinner, or dance with me. Someone who gives great hugs and won't let go. A person I could kiss all night or talk to all night long, or both. No smokers, ew. I'm allergic. Animal lovers or people who care about them would be nice. You don't have to be a vegan, just care. Someone who will teach me poker and play Jenga with me. Someone who will dance with me even with no music. You know what I mean? If so, write me.

My Blog

birthday month, birthday weekend, birthday

Well, as some of you know (because you so sweetly wished me a happy b-day), Saturday was my birthday. My friend took me to see her friends' band all the up in Havertown (over an hour away). I thought ...
