Chad Thompson, known as "Missing Link the Unknown Soul", who hails from North Carolina, Link has been on the music scene since high school. Holding the title of drum captain he received several scholarships after competing in the state Regionals. This is where the stage was set for his hard hitting bass lines and killer high hats used in the production of the Link's Life, Carolina's Finest, and the Southern Pride records. School talent shows and producing music for local artist put a drive in Link to begin writing and producing his own sounds which he has showcased live at local venues, like Raw Talent, a TV show out of Fayetteville, NC, the Buster Brown Show on WB, Sportsman Bar in Burlington, NC and Sugar Hill Club. He has performed at the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio and at the Royal Peacock in Atlanta, Georgia. Link's most recent performance was as the opening act for Bone Thugs N' Harmony at Peacock Night Club in Cleveland, Ohio. Rippin' Productions is mixing some down home country cookin' with some southern funk.
