Seattle resident since 1988.
Former full time rock musician.
Played drums in several Seattle bands througout the 1990s and early 2000s. A little recording-this, Los Angeles-that.
Bands1989-1992: Tina Chopp 1994: Hummer 1994-2002: Ottoman Bigwigs 1997: Dodi 1997-2001: Sycophant 2001-2003: the Lawnmowers
Did a few other recordings, including stuff with Awesome! and Chris Balew of the Presidents of the United States of America. Would maybe do another music project if someone called, and if what they were doing was good.
Do a little fringe theater once in a while. Seattle's 14/48 Festival at least once a year, and co-wrote and performed music with James Palmer in Lauren Weedman's production of "Amsterdam" at Seattle's Empty Space Theater, February 2001.
Do paintings at home for our own walls, because buying art is too expensive.
Gin and tonics in the summer, good scotch around the holidays.
Married, three cats.
Horrifyingly liberal on most issues.
Currently attending University of Washington Bothell for a degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, focusing on science, technology, and the environment. Afterward it's a K-8 teaching certificate. Once a teacher, my students will not pass 5th grade if they overuse the words "totally", "like", or "awesome."
Refuse to wait for a table at any breakfast joint, but will tolerate a 30-minute limit for dinner if it's a good place.
