The concept was envisioned while Brandon was a sophomore in High School, he wanted to put together a cover band and designed the now-famous logo. No one wanted to join him in his endeavor so he all but gave up hope until the fateful summer of 2003.
It was during this summer he played bass in a local punk band so he started multi-tracking songs in the rented practice space his band was using. He played all analog instruments and keyboards on these recordings. These songs are now known as "Extended Play 2003".
In 2005, he enlisted in the Army and began arranging compositions on his computer during his Iraq deployment in 2006-2007, recording the vocals whenever he could find time. These tracks became the albums "Grand Theft Audio" and "Lusis Naturae".
He decided at this time to split the duties of the "band" between 3 separate but equal entities with himself (see members section).
The album "Taedium Vitae" and the EP "Ruins" were done in much the same way as previous recordings, with the notable exception of better production and vocal recording, as he was home from Iraq at this point.
The album "Solo/Only (So Lonely)" was done completely while stationed in Germany and the song choices are indicative of his separation from his family.
"Je stále lepÅ¡Ã, pomalu" was finished in early 2009 and has the notable feature of being the only Taedium Vitae album with a collaboration. "Dear God" is a new twist on an old favorite, made more special by guest vocals and mandolin from Shit head .
The new album is in the works, and promises to be the best one yet. Taedium Vitae is prolific, you know.
