Blackhole is about being "caught in the abyss, the darkness, the undercurrent that is depression"-Skye Delamey. "Devil in an Evening Dress" is a story of temptation and seduction, while the chilling "Heroics" is about life and death. In Skye’ Delamey’s song "Heroics" you can hear both an exygen effect as well a steady heartbeat through the song. "Heroics" ends with a car crash. After randomly walking into one of the organization’s museums one day, which is called "Psychiatry: Industry of Death," located on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, Ca.; Skye was utterly shocked and disgusted by the outragous things that were shown and displayed. Skye was instantly motivated to write a song in tribute of the message of the CCHR, which for Skye is about the ethical treatment of people.*In Spring 2007, Skye Delamey was interviewed by CCHR as part of their promotional campaign, and was also asked to perform at some of their events and functions. October 2007-Skye completes bad ass rock video "psychiatry: an industry of death." Video footage comes out hot! This song is about the anti overmedication of people-kids and adults on psychiatric medication if they don’t need it...if they need it that’s one thing and it’s fine, but now days ritalin is randomly and excessivley passed out in schools and shoved to innocent kids like candy and that isn’t right.
October 2007-Skye PARTIES her ass off on in endless array of halloween parties and events...ranging from her own annual ball to awesome event at the rainbow bar/grill to a bunch of other really cool stuff...
November 2007-Skye heads to to the spiritual and relaxing mountains of Bass Lake and Yosimite for a weekend getaway/recovery after hard halloween themed partying. Skye gets prepped for new recording project and live performances.
November 2007-Skye goes to bad ass concerts, meets a million different cool people, writes new songs for new project!
Decemeber 2007-Skye gets turns into a christmas elf! Goes to hundreds of christmas parties, events! Plans get made to have Skye write songs for 2 motion different motion pictures!
January 2008-Skye hangs out in Las Vegas, and brings in the New Year with the Goo Good Dolls at the House of Blues, Mandalay Bay. Skye is asked to provide her lyrics for the music of well known French artist, Frederick. Skye writes song "Human Planes," and begins writing more for joint project with French artist, Frederick. Skye gets interviewed by writer Vida Ghaffarie who writes 3 page article in the magazine she works for called the Persian Mirror.
February 2008-Skye writes second song for Frederick-the lyrics and entitles it "Gold Rain."
March 2008- Skye goes on to write "city that never sleeps," "Ted the Bartender," and "Cali baby" (in addition to "Gold Rain," and "Human Planes" for artist Frederick. "psychiatry: and industry of death" is renamed "Francis Farmer." Skye performs with new band at the very haunted (in a good way), and historical Venice Bistro in Venice Beach, Ca., where many of the greats once performed. Skye gets ready for new photoshoots, videos, acting projects, sponsorships and more...much much more...so, stay tuned!!!
