Since the late 70's, Victor Cisneros has been actively performing throughout the United States and points beyond as a Vocalist/Saxophonist/Songwriter. He has worked in numerous musical groups ranging in styles from Rock and Rhythm and Blues to Latin Jazz and Afro-Cuban.
Some of his musical credits include: being a member and principal writer of the rock quintet EKO which was one of the earliest "Rock En Espanol" bands to come out of Los Angeles' eastside during the late 70's. In the mid 80's, he toured extensively with a group called the G-men which was led by radio personality "MG" (Machine Gun) Kelly. In 1990, Victor joined (and still remains a member of) the Chicano-Pop group Tierra which topped the charts back in 1982 with a memorable version of the Gamble& Huff classic "Together". In addition, he has contributed musically to five other Tierra CD's including the most recent "Café East ....L.A.....". He's also worked with several Latin bands, including El Chicano, Malo and Mambo Combo.
Victor has recorded for a wide variety of artists from groups such as the Mexican rock band El Tri , to the popular Thai Entertainer Boyd Kosiyabong, and many others.
In 2000 after about a year of writing and conceptual planning, Victor completed his first solo CD entitled "Reciprocity" which is an eleven song collection of Latin flavored Pop and Rhythm and Blues. Victor is currently in the studio working on his next CD and is hoping to release it in early 2009.
