OX PLUS

Short for Oxygen Plus, Ox is a true beast of burden Plus some. His work ethic and unrelenting rapid fire wit makes you want to slow down the track and analyze each of this words as he paints a mordern Picasso. Words abstracted with the current events of the day find there way into his lines. Hailing from the Boro of the the Royal Bitch (Queens), from West Indian parents from Aruba and Dominica. Ox Plus fell in love with hip hop when he tried to memorize "Sucker MCs" by RUN DMC and lost when he heard the Human Beat Box. This initiated his entry to this new genre of music and an untapped resource for expression. He was engulfed by groups that had found there way in his neighborhood of East Elmhurst/ Corona (Kool G Rap, Kid N Play, Kwamé, Beat Nuts, Mista' Sinista' (X-Men/ Executioners), Eric B and Rakim (Eric is from around the way), Salt N Pepa (Herbie Luv Bug), Large Pro). Ox Plus found himself dabbling more into the freestyling and to to this day has a clip of Supernatural's interview with Vibe Magazine when he broke down how he freestyles. He then explored the ability of "off the top word juggling" when he relocated down to VA. After years of battling at local clubs he never pushed to try to get signed. He chose to concentrate on his other talents and entered the arena of fashion design. Ox Plus artful tongue and methodic wit includes him with thee most versitile artists of today.
