Influences: Considered to be one of the hottest rap artist in Kentucky, Kid White's unique delivery and style has gained him thousands of fans across the world. Born and raised in Louisville, Ky, he was influenced by the low income housing environment he grew up in, which contributed to his lyrics of everyday life in the streets. Kid White's solid approach to recording tracks has earned him respect amongst his peers as an rapper destined for greatness, making him an in-demand artist on the music scene.
Rapping since the age of 15, Kid White released his first project entitled "Hard Times" in 2001, which was well-received in the music community. He then went on release his first mixtape "13th Street Crack Muzik" in 2006 hosted by DJ DCeezy and pushed 5000 units into the streets. It featured a track entitled "Where Ya From A song, which was released on Street Credit: King of the Bluegrass DVD where it received major attention. The video became an instant hit and secured Kid White as a premiere lyricist in the Kentucky region, and the track eventually achieved radio airplay. Following the success of "Where Ya From", he recorded another radio hit along with Jason Coffey entitled "My Crew", a hip hop track laced with an R&B influence aimed at a female audience. He has also been featured on numerous other mixtapes including Bricks amd DFM as well as DVDs, including "Da Block" and "The Liquor Store".Building toward commercial success Kid White has attracted the attention of the music industry, opening up for numerous major acts including Young Buck, Dem Franchise Boyz, Crime Mob, Lloyd Banks, and Freeway as well as performing before big crowds in the Louisville area. He is currently working on a new album which is scheduled for release in 2007.
