Rodskeez

About Me

Born in Tehran, Iran & Based in the heart of Sydney, Australia, Rodskeez (Rodean Roozbehani) has only firmly placed himself in the world of electronic dance music. His first signed contract occurring mid 2008 at the ripe young age of 19. He set the bar fairly high in regards to the quality in music. Working with reputable labels such as 303 lovers, hotfingers & presslab records.
Rodskeez was aurally, technically, musically self taught starting at the ripe young age of 15. Up until only 2007, he spent (or more arguably wasted) time trying to figure out the whys and hows behind music production, not having any friends that shared common grounds, it made the task 100x more harder and tedious. Whether it would be comprising melodies, figuring how to make a certain sound, or getting a clean and loud mix. You name it, he's sat down tediously (just like what your doing now as you read this) trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
Tech would be his primary sound. Being a bit of a freelance artist however, his sound spans between a variety of genres such as electro, progressive, techno, house and minimal. At the end of the day they all contain such similar elements it wouldn't make sense just to stick to one side of it, unless your a freak who sits in a den of a studio making the most minimal of minimal music.. so minimal you can't hear it
At this point, feast your eyes on this young hooligan. The next year or two will consist of him working his ass off just so you remember his sound as well as his name. At the end of the day he did sacrifice a bit of his teenhood to make some cool sounds you guys can dig (that is opposed to running around town on huge three day benders with the aid of coke and a vigurous amount of sex with lovely pubescent [is that even a word?] broads and the odd thai chick that actually turned out to be a dude. Oh and if you havn't gathered by now, his sound (like his biography) can get pretty dam quirky
