Timbre Terrorists were formed around the winter of 2004 driven by the search for a more passionate and confronting style of hip-hop. The group consists of Vocalist Corinne Myrteza, and MC/Instrumentalist Dyme1 (Dwayne Hawke).
Hailing from regional Victoria, as a hip-hop/world music outfit, Timbre Terrorists offer a complex style of music that can be anywhere between light atmospherical sound scapes all the way to heavy hardcore noise, but always sitting within the groove. A band that always wears its heart on its sleeve, lyrically, TT passionately addresses emotional commentaries and socio-political issues, always with brutal honesty. With sound, heart, emotions and burning desire fuelling them, Timbre Terrorists are not afraid of pushing themselves.
