The Virginia Beach Area has been inspired and blessed by a God-given talent. Albertina Dancy’s talent was discovered at the age of 5 by her mother, Catherine Dancy. “God has blessed me with a wonderful mother whom has helped and guided me even when I didn’t want to listen.” “She stopped singing so that I could.” Her mother, Catherine was a soul stirring gospel singer from the old school. At the age of 12 Albertina began to sing professionally with the help of her mother. Since then Albertina has shared the stages with Richard Smallwood, Vicki Winans, Bill Pinkney and the Drifters and Tyler Perry numerous times, just to name a few.
Albertina Dancy is a 2005 graduate of Livingstone College, Salisbury, NC with a B.A. Degree in Criminal Justice; a 2007 graduate of Argosy University, Arlington, VA with a Masters in Forensic Psychology with a specialization in Human Service Law.
