About Me

Deathpodal will be performing in....
Deathpodal is a solo music project by someone called Al Doesn't Like You Anymore.
Named after a failing and almost defunct entertainment capsule, he played his first show in Stavanger, Norway in 2003. Deathpodal has just completed recording Exu____Wow! his debut EP, due for release 2009. If you want to get in contact simply send a message or leave a comment.
Deathpodal has supported the likes of Hookers Green No. 1, Circulus, Paul Research (The Scars), Uncle John & Whitelock, Boy Lacks Patience, Smithwork, Pete McConville, Las Gambas Pil Pil, Amber, Dumkoppf and The Jinx. He has been in Dumbracket, The Martha Dumptruck Massacre, Masamune and Fighterplanes.

"Deathpodal - man, mystery or soon-to-be living legend? There are many theories, but either way its clear that he is a sublimely talented artist whose music has a fragile beauty perfectly suited for a live setting. Whether its a transcendent triumph or a muddy swamp-soup of madness, his comeback is sure to be fascinating." - Michael MacLennan, The Herald
"I am a proprietor of muzak, and I concur the music is good. Transcendent. Like revisting Picasso's blue period. I appreciate Deathpodal's candour." - Paul Pable
Deathpodal does not condone the Murdoch empire but is a hypocrite.

Recording in the final stages

I'm so close I can taste it in my spit.  This project once so brittle, punished by indecision and technological frailety thrives still even without my gaze.  Since I last posted piano, melod...

Happy New Year....new new new Deathpodal news!

So I've traversed that period all musicians go through where they hate their own songs and every show they've played. I'm ready for more misery and awkward silence to the soundtrack of a wordless, im...
