Early influences of Pete Rock, Eric Sermon, DJ Premier, Marly Marl, and the likes of other producer greats introduced by older brother "E" Burns, molded the then young ES-P to take charge into the world of hip hop. Over the years, he honed his production skills under a then up and coming producer Eric "E" Swann in Take Flight Production Studios in Montclair, NJ before venturing out to become the one man team he has become today. From early groups: Sez Who, Foundation, The Fellowship, and B.L.O.C.S., his work can be heard and adorned by true underground hip hop listeners. Now as 1/2 of the supergroup "Fussion" with partner in rhyme Philosphy, Es-P once again sets out to make his stamp in hip hop, push it to its limits, and graduate from the independent circuit and into the majors. With uncanny production style and an ear for music, Es-Poetic is known as "the producers producer" with ground breaking melodies, hard/vintage drums, and digging in the crate sounds.
