The Whiz Man never fit him like The Whiz Kid did.

About Me

I'm old enough to be your dad. I have a lovely wife and a beautiful daughter. I work nights making tiny pieces of silicon into squares more valuable than my car. If you met me, you'd probably want me. But you can't have me. Besides, I'm too nice a guy, so you'd probably only want me as a friend anyway. Which is cool. Cuz friends are good to have.

heartbreak

Words cannot express the depths of my depression right now.    1 botched snap, and defeat has been snatched from the jaws of victory.  As bad as I feel, I know I am not as low as my bo...

not to worry, but....

Our daughter has started to form sentences.  Which is great, because it means she's progressing well, and could possibly be a Rhodes scholar.  But, earlier today, from the other room, and co...

pop muzik future

As much as I would like to avoid it, it seems I'm not to escape the next 10 - 15 years being filled with pop (crap) music.  Aislin has officially discovered "Who Let The Dogs Out". It took a...

the big salary plan

Yes, tonight was the big night we found out who got raises this year, and who didn't.  And, lo and behold, I got one.   In fact, I got a promotion.   Yes, I am now halfway back to where...

Why bad drivers ruin it for the rest of us

So, I got my first speeding ticket in like 14 years today. I was driving home from my parents after dropping Aislin off.  Cruising through Hinesburg, conditions were perfect, no one on the road, ...

Acting her sign

For those who can appreciate it, Aislin had her first Virgo moment last night.  Or, at least, the first one I got to witness. In her room were a basket of dirty laundry and an empty basket. ...

bulletins and how they're way too long

So, my apologies for not doing the last few.  But it's never boring with a 17-month-old constantly throwing things, or herself, and generally creating havoc. I've been working a bunch of overtime...

More blaaaaaahhhg

Another looooong night at work.  And to top it off, when I get out of here at 7AM, I get to stay up all day watching my little munchkin.  Which is cool, cuz she's one of the few things I'd s...

9 Month Check

Just got back from Aislin's 9 month checkup - - still normal!  Yay!  She's still kinda short, and definitely doesn't lack for an appetite, and she's still got a big ol' head.  That's my...
