I am also the Head J3 Coach for Mission Ridge Ski Team in Washington.
To me the most important part of coaching is teaching and exemplifying behavior that will have a positive influence beyond ski racing. I truly believe that ski racing not only teaches the athlete how to ski well, but it also teaches life skills such as organization, independence, time management, and interpersonal communication.
