I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

One of the hardest things in life to do is to thank God for the hard stuff. We should remember, however, that the hard times are what make us strong. I thank God for the baby daddy that didn't do anything to help raise his girls. Because of him I am no longer the weak little girl I used to be, and I have raised STRONG women who know that they can survive without a man. I can stand up for myself because I now have confidence. I can ignore the haters that say what I CAN'T do, because I know BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that I can do ALL THINGS through Christ. He is my strength, my shield, my provider. I thank God for the brothers who didn't want me when I was younger, because I couldn't have grown to be my OWN person if I would have been trying to make myself into what I thought one of those hard heads wanted me to be. I thank God for the financial hardships because they have made me creative and industrious. I know how to make stuff that I would have otherwise bought. I know how to fix stuff that I would have had to depend on someone else for. Yes, I still want to be married, but if God doesn't send me a mate, I know that He will be there for me and continue to provide my every need. It is easy to thank God for the job, car, home, the children who graduated, but can we thank God when the car won't start? ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD. I can jump a battery and help someone else learn how to do so also. Three weeks ago, I helped a grown man work one of those new 'no leak' gas cans. Why was I able to help him? Because I ran out of gas myself. We have to learn to thank God for everything.

Very proud mother of 5; 4 girls and a boy. Oldest 3 are GROWN WOMEN, strong, proud, and well on their way to making wonderful lives for themselves. I'm single, saved, and undertaking my biggest challenge of my life--working, going to school, and raising my children.
