There are no regrets in life, only lessons

About Me

I have been married for 8 years to a wonderful guy! I am a stay at home mom to our 4 year old boy/girl twins, Carson and Teagan, and 20 month old little girl Reese. My family is my life. Everyday with them is hilarious and new. When the kids all end up in school I will be lost for awhile LOL. I love how life is going and would keep popping out little ones if Britt would let me!! At this point, it's gonna take some talking into.......we'll see, I can be pretty persuasive (or maybe determined is a better word).Britt has owned his own construction company now for almost 8 years. His buisness is doing great (so far he is staying pretty steady inspite of the ecenomoy being in the pooper), over all he enjoys his work. He busts his butt every day at work and then comes home and busts his butt being a daddy. He is an amazing husband and father. Even when he is driving me crazy, I always remember how lucky I am to have him.Our five year plan is to move to a little town very north east of the mountains. Small town life just seems to fit what we want for our family. We are looking for our dream property to build on but these things take time. Plus, I'm hoping having all the wild life running through our "yard" will cut down on Britts hunting time, ha ha ha. If you know Britt you know that this is a wish that will never come true.Having a family has not changed me all that much. If anything they have actually allowed me to find *ME*. Forever gone is the doormat of my former self!!! I will always laugh too much and too loudly. I can find humor in almost anything. I am an optomist and choose to be blissfully worry free as much as I can. I live my life whole heartedly and try to take everything that comes my way, good or bad, as a learning experience.[LOVEMYFLASH]

My Interests

The hubby and kids (duh), reading, knitting, garden fresh veggies, cooking, dancing, singing (loudly), the feel of clean sheets, my house staying clean for more than 30 minutes, long summer days, the sounds of the ocean and roaring rivers, when all 3 kids are napping at the same time, random kisses, my kids singing and dancing, snuggling, laying in bed at night and talking, "family hugs", the sound of my kids laughing hysterically, the crunch when you bite into just picked apples, birds singing as the sun rises and frogs croaking as it sets, the smell of fresh brewed coffee, naked babies on the run, hearing I love you for no special reason, painting, late night snacks of chocolate, my daily sanity calls, dreams and wishing on stars (even if they never come true), laughing and making others laugh, living my boring, busy, normal, crazy, wonderful life to the fullest!

I'd like to meet:

A personal trainer and a personal chef that would work for free to get me back into pre-baby body. HA HA HA Oh, and maybe a plastic surgeon willing to join the cause as well.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Music:

I will listen to just about anything but I prefer country for the most part. Although there are always those days where I crave old school rap....... seriously........like late 80's to mid 90's stuff... Beastie Boys, Bone Thugs, Too Short, The Click, Snoop Dogg , N2Deep (lol)...you get the picture.

Movies:

Wizard of Oz, Grease, & Moulin Rouge are my all time favorite movies. Apparently I like musical themed movies. A few standouts would be; Practical Magic, Ever After, most movies with John Cusak, Dirty Dancing, .........I can't for the life of me remember when I watched anything other than a Disney movie though.

Television:

Haven't really been doing the whole TV thing much. I am currently trying to talk the hubby into getting rid of it completely! Don't get me wrong, it's nice to turn on the tube and let the kids veg out when I am having a crappy mood day or when they are sick, but..........

Books:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE READING!!! When it comes to reading I am not very pickey, so when the need to read hits, I'll pick up whatever is close by. Mysterys, biographys, true crime, romance, memoirs, fiction, non-fiction...it doesn't matter to me I love it all. I really want to instill the love of reading in my kids! Reading is such a huge part of me and who I have always been, I would be lost with out it. It has served as an escape when I needed one and other times it has just been a beloved past time. Just know that if I am in the middle of reading, you could be blowing up bombs next to me and chances are pretty good that I will be so involved in my book, I would never even notice that you were there.Books I have finished within the last few weeks:"Such A Pretty Fat" by Jen Lancaster. It is so f'in HILARIOUS! All of her books are great (seriously girls, read them) they are laugh out loud, with tears streaming down your face so you can't read the words anymore, funny!!The Twilight series (I don't recall the author of these 4) I don't "do" vampire books but these were so good. I loved them all. They were quick reads even though they were long books. They kept me entertained and wanting more. I am hoping the author will continue on with the stories. (Just for the record: I still refuse to read vampire books)

Heroes:

June Cleaver, how in the hell she cooked, cleaned, raised kids with out an occasional melt down, and still looked perfect is so beyond me.I know it is hollywood, but out there somewhere is the real lady!
