About Me

My greatest pleasures include: reading, writing, talking, learning, sharing, connecting and pondering all I absorb. These are abundant, so Life is Beautiful.
I am passionate about art in most forms: music, written word, paint, sculpture, digital mediums and photography. Any form of creative expression inspires me. I prefer a sense of intimacy, which means avoiding large crowds of people. Magnified sensitivity requires a certain distance from overwhelming stimulation, so I steer clear of situations that exaggerate sensation. My imagination is powerful enough that I don’t require the experience of all things. ;)
WARNING: I am a WHY person. If you don't like answering questions, you won't like me!
I love my job and those I spend most of my time with there. My work ethic is ferocious, which results in my spending a great deal of time and energy toward my responsibilities. Between that and my devotion to friends and writing, I have little time or energy to share, though I desperately wish I did. If it takes me a while to respond to messages, please don’t hold it against me. QUALITY IS BETTER THAN QUANTITY.
PS: I generally do not add anyone who does not send a note of introduction first. Easy mode of communication via the web is NOT an excuse to indulge the laziness of forgoing polite manners.

I'd like to meet:

Open minds and softened hearts. I haven’t the time to play silly games, so say what you mean and mean what you say! Intellectual, passionate, sensitive spirits to share experience, thoughts and feelings… Artistic, creative minds who can offer different perspectives so I might learn something new. I favor the company of those who aren’t afraid to discuss anything and who aren’t afraid to be themselves – how can anyone connect if everyone is trying to be what they aren't?

I do NOT want to meet people seeking to expand their popularity list, people who lack intellect and imagination, or anyone whose mind limits perspective. Life is too short to waste with fools.
