Hello Stella.I'm originally from Manchester, but now live by the sea in Suffolk.I used to go out a lot in manchester in the late Eighties, used to go to the Hacienda all the time,loved it. That was one wicked club. Good times.Here's a picture of the old 'Hacienda', proper club.And if you're wondering why there was a swimming pool, well that was for the legendary 'HOT' nights. It wasn't there all the time though. Usually just a cool club with about 1500 people in.Used to hang about under the alcove's in the Hacienda with all the Manchester firm back in the day. Loved that whole Madchester Vibe. Used to be some mega parties with top sounds & top people.Still go to parties every now and then.
