About Me

Hello... I'm a creative person who loves to sing. If you haven't heard me, I'm going to launch a band page as soon as I finish doing some new recordings...I like to write songs, poetry, and I have aspirations towards writing more forms of literature (drama and fiction). Trying to find the time to put my ideas down. I love to discuss ideas and hear other people's. There is so much inspiration out there to act on. I play at Ealing Acoustic in The Haven, Ealing, W5. This is a great organisation that sets up a venue and voice for songwriters in London. Check it out on: ealingacoustic.co.uk. Other nice venues in West London are The Troubadour (Earl's Court), The Half Moon (Putney), and Finnegan's Wake (Ealing). My songs are about life and people and are quite direct. The style is a kind of blues-folk. Some of it has been recorded, but I'm interested in recording a lot more. The gig was most looking forward to was the Ealing Acoustic Session at the Ealing Jazz Festival, Walpole Park, W5 on July 29th. It went well despite cutting my finger right as I went on and still have to play the guitar! Jazz is one of the songs that I love to sing and the Festival has been very enjoyable over the years. My other interests are theatre-going, watching live music, reading, travelling, gardens design and cinema. I am part Scottish, English, Asian and more... I look forgeign and I'm always being asked where I'm from, but I'm from London. You can hear me interviewed and singing on Meet the Bands on MySpace at http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewpro file&friendid=190592102 When I'm free I like to go to gigs that my firends are playing. Most of them are in myspace (below). Peace *
