I have my degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Rider University (Class of '06). I also have my Associates Degree in Communication, but I decided I really wanted to work with children, thanks to my job as a camp counselor, so I switched to Education. I love movies and therefore end up quoting movies, I love to sing, I adore children's literature, I love painting ceramics, and I have a talent for entertaining little children. I try to enjoy life in any way possible. I LOVE visiting NYC, and I love to catch a show on Broadway when I have the money. I have an interesting collection of pressed pennies that I try to collect whenever I go somewhere new. The most recent is from my last vacation to Palm Dessert, CA. I am also a fan of Jazz music, especially since I sang jazz with the live jazz band for 4 years at MCCC. A poet, when I'm not writing lesson plans for the week or reading for pleasure. I love butterflies, and I love to "do a crazy dance" and sing in the shower as well as in my car, almost every time I drive!! I have been a Nanny for two wonderful children for the past 4 years and will be very sad when the oldest is allowed to take over watching her brother. Otherwise, I just love teaching my 3 year olds everyday and have never been happier in my life than I am right now!
