About Me

Born '62, got a life '77, got a wife '88, got a son '92 and '93. What more do you need?

Music makes me feel more alive than anything else in the world. And I love all sorts, though especially vintage punk rock.

I also love cheese and jam on toast, festivals, the smell of rain, lager, cats, Coen brothers movies, words, London, spontaneity and George Cox brothel creepers.

Until recently I fronted the fantastic punk covers group 16 AGAIN under the alias of Blitzkrieg Bob but when that group retired, I decided to retire Bob too and revert to the "punk name" I started out with way back when.

Just so as you know.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Other people who love cheese and jam on toast, festivals, the smell of rain, lager, cats, Coen brothers movies, words, London, spontaneity and George Cox brothel creepers.

Oh, and music!

"Without people, youre nothing."

It's six years today since Joe Strummer died. Today, as then, I'm sat in front of my PC in my office. Today, as then, I still can't quite believe it. There's still a heaviness in my heart and a hole t...

Rebellion 2008 Review, Part 1

It's that time of year again. The post-Blackpool come down. Bah! Well, that means it's time to get my thoughts down on paper (well, the web) before my aging brain forgets it all. That's something mo...

Went to see the fabulous Alabama 3 again last night at the Lemon Tree. The new album MOR had been on fairly heavy rotation at Blitzkrieg Towers in the lead up to the gig and my feelings on it were mix...
