About Me

Ω carpe diem Ω
i'm alex and there's nothing i like more than a good cup of tea and beans on toast in the morning. i live in york now, studying sociology at the university and so far, i have had the time of my life. i play the tenor saxophone which is raaaather radical, and music does play a big part in my life; 'scuse the pun. i like to hold philosophical debates with myself and think deep, particularly when i've had a few too many...which, by the by, happens a lot. i don't need a lot of sleep, i like to think i'm a genuine person, i think i'm incapable being angry for more than 3 seconds, i love meeting people who are easy to talk to and more than anything, i love variety and i really fucking hate commitment.
what alex balmer cannot live without: hairspray, vodka, eyeliner, ghds, wine, saxophone, tomato soup, candles, phone, some kind of weird gadget like a lava lamp, iPod, sex, jagermeister, tim burton, incense, chicken tikka masala, fairy lights, david tennant, belts, tinsel, contact lenses, twister nights, your mother, smiles, subway, red bull and most important of all, friends :)
over and OUT
