Reality continues to ruin my life.

About Me

then "blurb" about you... Yes, we'll fit all that defines us in a neat little paragraph. I suppose that's better than using a number. If you already knew about me, then why are you reading this? I'm the one your mother warned you about. Actually, I just love everyone.........."To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." -Emerson

My Interests

interests include traveling, the common good, scuba diving, weight lifting, reading, skiing, computers, hiking, photography, playing trumpet, writing, listening to live music, seeing art, learning, and spending time with the greatest people on earth who call themselves my friends and family.

I'd like to meet:

"...the life of the prominent individuals within a generation cannot stand apart from the generation itself. If they are the fish, the gene pool is the liquid in which they swim. The generational sensitivity they share is far more significant than the things that separate them." -Landon Y. Jones

Music:

"is your only friend... until the end." Of course I think I like only the best. The greatest artists not only play brilliantly, but change people's lives with what they write. Endlessly creative and sincere- like Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, U2, Bob Marley, Mike Patton, Tool, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Doors, Led Zeppelin Radiohead, Chris Cornell, Black Sabbath, Rush, Jane's Addiction, Miles Davis, Count Basie, Harry Chapin, Sting, DJ Db, DJ Hype, RJD2, Paul Oakenfold, Squarepusher, Les Claypool, Government Mule, Burning Spear...

Movies:

are really cool. I like Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, The Usual Suspects, Easyrider, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Scarface, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, Spun, Pulp Fiction, Debbie Does Dallas...

Television:

is a waste of time.

Books:

are essential. I enjoy reading classic literature, philosophy, politics and history. James Joyce, William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway, T.S. Elliot, Howard Zinn, Alan Ginsberg, Franz Kafka, Douglas Adams, George Orwell, Robert Frost, Friedrich Nietzsche, Thomas Beckett...

Heroes:

include Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Ghandi, Lao Tzu, Black Elk, Bono, Neil Gershenfeld, Ray Bourque, Roger Waters, Renee Descartes, Jim Rogers, Amy Goodman, Maynard James Keenan, Clint Eastwood, Hunter S. Thompson... and you!
