ALW aka ‘Anna Leiya Wyite’ is a fresh new talent waiting to be unleashed she has appeared in 2 groups trying to crack the music industry, whilst in the group ‘Prestige’ with whom they won Best group at the Urban Music Awards,ALW worked hard on her craft maintaining her ability to stand out and stand clear away from her competitors.
Born & raised in an urban community ALW developed a strong passion for Gospel & Soul music. Her vocal ability instantly shows her complementing vocal range – defining her creative style and sound with a powerful voice second to none.
When ALW started working on her first solo project ‘Dip Down Low’ (produced by Para Beats, Big Headz & Skully), Her first single ‘Dip Down Low’ became popular underground causing a stir across the UK and especially Japan.
Whilst recording her follow up ‘Leave Me Alone’ ALW was offered the opportunity to appear on several tracks including one offered to ‘Beyonce’.
ALW’s talent, personality and faith have won her fans and supporters from all over the UK and abroad, including celebrity's such as Myleene Klass, Sway, Nate James, Tameka Empson (from 3 non blondes)& Wesley 2Play to name a few.
ALW's 1st single launch party last year had the support from one of the UK’s leading designers ‘Kyri London’ who has clients from Victoria Beckham to Christina Milian, to supply her outfits on stage.
Now at the tender age of 24 ALW ‘Anna Leiya Wyite’ has returned to complete the next chapter in her goal for music domination and the return of credible UK R&B.
Her second follow up single ‘Come on Over’ shows the progression and defines her style in her sound and creativity. Maintaining her edge as an urban artist ALW strives to remain different from her predecessors and is clearly shown on her upcoming album with elements of Jazz, Opera and Gospel.
To date ALW has achieved success appearing on tours, urban TV shows and opening record stores and colabos with various artists.
