About Me

Solo Ramblings from ex-Herb Garden and Current Sons of Muttley guitarist, but hey let's face it, so what. This stuff is here for a bit of fun and because no-one else can hear it if it just stays on my computer - there ain't no point in doing it all just for your own self-gratification!Musically I can't tell you what its meant to sound like, it's just notes on a page although I can't read music. Self-deprecating, self promoting, self absorbed tunes for no-one in particular to appreciate.Been making music (if that's what you call it - says me mum) for about 20 years. About 8 of which was with Bristol band, the Herb Garden. Have gigged all over Europe (no honestly we did) and most pubs, clubs and mate's kitchens in Bristol.Check out the Sons of Muttley though if you want to hear something polished, melodic and newer. Check out www.myspace.com/herbgardeninfo if you want to get all dewy eyed and nostalic.....

My Interests

Band Members: Just me on this stuff I'm afraid. I can't fit a brass section into my bedroom (and believe me I've tried)
Influences: XTC, Killing Joke, The two elvises (Presley and Costello), Nomeansno, The Damned, The two Presleys (Elvis and Reg), The inventor of the Theremin (what was his name again?) The Herb Garden, The Two Cohens (Leonard and Jonathan off Play Away), Guy Debord, Ketty Lester, Turbonegro, Grant Green, Johnny Cash, The Three Curtises (Mayfield Blow and Stigers - OK not really the last one) The twelve notes and the strange ones in between that form this thing called pitch, Bruce Campbell (out of the Evil Dead). Rock (and Roll as well I suppose) The internet (which was invented by Pete Townsend apparently). Cowboys and Cowgirls, Fear & Loathing (anywhere really but especially Las Vegas), everyone in my record collection apart from the naff Dali's Car album I bought in 1987 when I was into Bauhaus.....
Sounds Like: Nothing on Earth (apart from most of the things listed in my influences)
