We are THE FALL OF BABYLON!! A band that plays music for JESUS CHRIST! We are from Oxnard, CA. We have 6 members. Jeff Shepp(vocals), Daniel Varela(vocals), Chris(bass), Josh(guitar), David(guitar), and last but not least Biggz(drums).
There was a time where we all didn't know one another, where we all lived separate lives but God working in his amazing ways brought us all together to worship him through our music.
we dont play your everyday worship music but the music we love to spill our hearts through. he allowed us to do such a thing. we all feel we have a calling and that calling is to find the weak and the lost and speak the word our Lord in heaven, to spread his message. but before i continue with this i want to put it out there that yes we were lost in the world, we were so lost that some of us didn't even believe in God, some of us even cursed his name when the though of God came to play.
We were so caught up in drugs, booze and our own lives but little did we know the change god had in mind for us. im not gonna say were perfect Christians now because we are not. we still struggles these days with temptations, with respect. we are a work in progress. all of our music speaks of it. if you read our lyrics it explains our struggles in becoming men of God. life is such an amazing thing my brothers and sisters in the Lord.
Life is just what you make it, if you truly believe that life sucks because of your personal reasons then life will loose its beauty in your eyes. life isn't all about partying with your friends, smoking weed or even doing drugs in general. it's not about hooking up with girls because sex is for marriage and we are all guilty of that besides one member in our band( mad respect to him).. life is not about how you look or money, life was given to us to love god and one another. to unite in his name, to surrender everything to him. we are nothing with out god. really think about it, what are we with out God?? The selfish? The lost? The greedy?
The list goes on but what does all that mean when there's no love for our Lord, for our king in heaven who sent his son to die for all of our sins. that's a heavy weight to carry don't you think? believe or don't. just because you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist! we can't see the air we breathe can we, but we sure do breathe it. it keeps us alive everyday just like our Lord does. we all have a reason for being alive. we all struggle, we all have problems but there's something we can do about it and that's devote our lives to God.
It's not too late, no matter what burdens you carry in your heart. but don't wait til the last minute because Jesus Christ is coming soon to get his children, his believers so don't be left behind when he comes. tomorrow is not promised so stop acting like it is. Jesus Christ loves you and us as The Fall of Babylon, we stand for that! we made our choice and we will stand by it for eternity!
