Well people, I had my second baby; Blake Thomas Bakkila was born on May 30, 2008 at 4:37 pm. He was 8lbs 12oz, 21.5 in. He was not quite as easy as Alex, all I have to say is thank God for that epidural! We'll be on a time out from having babies now. We definately have our hands full with these two for now; I can't wait until they can play together! I wouldn't trade it for anything though, that is for sure.

7lbs 12oz; 20.75inI know I've made you all wait a long time, but you should know that this shit ain't easy. But I love it and my baby Alex is the cutest ever!!!
I went to the hospital about 1am on December 31; I'd been in labor all day, but my Dr. said to go to the hospital when my water broke, but it didn't... so I finally called him when my contractions were about 10 minutes apart and he said to go. By the time we got to the hospital my contractions were a couple minutes apart and I was dialated 5 cm. 5 more to go. I got the epidural; which was awesome by the way, but we think maybe the gave me a little too much juice. I was completely numb from the waist down for a long time. But my contractions slowed after the drugs, so they had to give me petosin and break my water. That got things movin. My Dr. got there about 11am (it takes a long time for all the drugs and stuff to kick in) and had to quickly change cause I was ready to roll. I had 4 contractions and pushed for about 10 minutes and out came baby Alexander. We watched football the whole time and I didn't even cry once. It had to be the drugs man. All I have to say now is wow. It is truly one of the most amazing things in the whole world to have a baby and be a parent.
