About Me

I was born in Ohio (Springfield) and spent my first 13 years there. I graduated from Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, and came to Florida in 1978 to attend college (Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne) to study marine biology. I met my husband there and ended up with my Mrs. instead of my BS degree. : )
I am a professional genealogist who specializes in Ohio research. I also recently returned to the "working world" after being a stay-at-home mom for 19 years. I am currently an assistant general manager for a hotel. Both jobs, as well as being a wife and mom, keep me busy, but I do manage to find some time for my personal research. A couple of my goals for the next few years are to become a certified genealogist and publish a family history book on some of my paternal lines.
My husband Bruce and I have been married for 27 years and we have 20 y.o. identical twin daughters. I homeschooled my daughters from kindergarten to their high school graduation. I am very proud of them as they are college honor students.
I'm a Chicago fan, not a stalker. :)
I am an animal lover. Our household consists of 7 cats, 8 flying squirrels, and 1 rabbit.
