inspiration struck whilst barrelling out of Morro Bay on the West Coast, we were to form an inoffensive americana soft rock band. Upon returning back and realizing robbo could not come to terms with country beats (cajun rythms?) and i couldn't play slide, the americana was dropped. The mild man of Maryport 'ak 40watson' came and joined us shortly after the ill-fated salvation army gig with his old band Columbo. And so the Innocents Abroad was formed and we built a shed in Rob's field and now play in there some nights. Things outside of the shed (ie gigs, spreadin horse-muck, strimming) are getting sorted at a comfortable pace generally referred to as slow, slow, quick-quick slow. We also now sport a superb four stringed bass man, with a face like a fondu party. He's better than good!
