Saraya, Australian Hip-Hop Violinist, is bringing something hot, new and exciting to the urban music scene.
Classically trained with a Bachelor of Music in Performance, positions in the QLD Youth Symphony and Australian Youth Orchestra…along with international touring experience to Europe, USA and NZ - this girl knows how to play!
Two years ago, Saraya decided to leave behind tradition and step out into the spotlight of the commercial Hip Hop scene and has since worked with Mphazes, Phrase, the Resin Dogs, The Optimen, Illzilla, Tommy Illfigga & Balboa, writing their luscious string parts, recording and performing with them.
Saraya’s work can be heard on the 2008 Hip-Hop doco Rhythm & Poetry with MPhazes on the beat as well as in the opening menu and under Weapon X’s interview. Saraya also features in upcoming Hip-Hop albums by MPhazes, Phrase and The Optimen.
Saraya is also the founder of Australia's sexy all-female string group The String Selection!
