About Me

I made this layout with help from pYzam , Look at these other Layouts!
Don't cross the road if you can't get out of the kitchen.My name is Kara. I am about 5' 6". I prefer not to label myself, and I have many different styles. I can go "prep" (which i don't do often, but I can do it if I want), "goth", "punk", whatever. Normally I am just me, though. I am bisexual, and as for religion... I have my own beliefs. They closely follow the Pagan/Wiccan religions, though.
It really bothers me when people label themselves and yet know nothing about whatever it is they're labeling themselves as. People should really look that up before they label themselves. I hate it when people label themselves at all, really.
I am mostly a loving person, and do not hate many things. I love to sing, and music is the core of my life. I also love to read and write, and I collect rocks and gems as a hobby. I looked at geology as a profession, for a while, but now I plan on opening a bar. I know, quite a difference. Geology is still a passion of mine, though. I also try to try everything at least once.

I am a sucker for a romantic. I've only been with someone who was even a slight romantic once... but I am always thinking of all these romantic things and whatnot that either I could do for other people, or that people could do for me. Romance is a good thing.

My Interests

My interests include singing, writing, reading... collecting rocks and gems, and learning about all of the above. I also like movies, and more things I'm not even thinking about right now.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone to just sit and talk to, without either of us getting upitty or defensive about a topic. Basically, I just like meeting new people.

Music:

It would be a lot easier for me to talk about my "Least Favorite Music", which would include most christian, rap, and country... though i can stand some few songs of each of those categories. I think I am subconsciously trying to gather "Music to please the masses"... I have nigh on 200 CDs (I know, others have many more than that), and am still gaining... all sorts of different types, as well. From Bluegrass to Metal.

Movies:

Some of my favorite movies are Moulin Rouge, The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Legend, and Boondock Saints. Basically though, I enjoy watching movies, and I suppose that is a good thing, seeing as my father is a movie collector of sorts. We own over 500 VHS (easily), and probably at least 100 DVDs. I like Anime, though i haven't watched too much of it... and I don't know the titles of most of what I have watched. lol.

Television:

I don't watch that much television anymore. For a while, my parents thought I should become an ad agent, because if an ad on the TV doesn't make sense or something, I go off about it. There's a few things I watch now and again... Charmed, That 70's Show, the history channel, discovery channel... a few things.

Books:

I could talk about books for ever. My favorite authors right now are David Eddings and Mercedes Lackey. The two best series by David Eddings I think are The Belgariad and it's sequal series The Mallorean. My favorite by Mercedes Lackey is a trilogy called The Last Herald Mage. Piers Anthony I find highly amusing, with his Xanth books, but there are other books of his I enjoy as well. Those are probably my top three favorite authors right now.

Thank you to everyone that showed up at Erin's going away party. It was a blast. I made an incredibly terrible and sappy toast, and cried, but it was a good party. So thanks!

Ok, so the party is at hot shots at 8. Some of us are going out to dinner beforehand so our minor friends can have more time with Erin, but you don't have to go to that. So dinner is at 6 at blue fin ...

Idaho!
